Buyer’s guide
What separates them
Every builder here produces a decent-looking page. The gap opens on three fronts: how much testing and personalisation you get, how fast the published page loads, and whether pricing is banded by visitor volume — which is what turns a cheap tool expensive the moment a campaign works.
The four questions that decide it
- Do you need A/B testing? If you are not running enough traffic to reach significance, you are paying for a feature you cannot use. Below roughly 1,000 visits per variant per month, skip it.
- Are you billed on traffic? Several tools cap monthly visitors. A successful campaign can push you into a higher tier mid-month.
- How fast are the pages? Builders add markup weight. On paid traffic, a slow page costs more than the subscription.
- Where does it publish? Custom domain, subdomain, or a WordPress plugin — each has different SEO and tracking consequences.
When you do not need one
If you already run WordPress with a page builder, or your email platform includes landing pages, a dedicated tool is often redundant. Buy one when you need real testing and personalisation, not just a page.
