HeyGen vs Fliki

HeyGen puts a presenter on screen; Fliki narrates over stock footage.

HeyGen is the better product and the more specific one. Avatar realism leads the category, and its video translation — re-voicing a recording into another language with matched lip movement — is genuinely transformative for training and multi-market marketing. One shoot can become thirty localised videos. The catch is credits, which disappear quickly during experimentation, and the residual stiffness that makes avatars a poor fit for personality-led content.

Fliki is a repurposing machine. Paste a blog post and it segments the text, matches stock footage, adds a voiceover and subtitles, and renders. The output is formulaic and the footage matching is often literal, but for turning an archive of writing into steady social video it is direct and cheap.

Choose by output. Talking-head explainers, training, and localisation point to HeyGen. Volume social video from content you have already written points to Fliki. Neither replaces a camera for anything that trades on personal connection.
