Where it falls short. Codebase awareness is behind Cursor: it sees open files and some context rather than indexing the whole repository, so multi-file refactors are weaker. Chat quality varies by model, and the agent mode is newer and less reliable than purpose-built rivals. It also encourages accepting plausible completions without reading them, which is a real quality risk.
